The Rural –Urban Development Initiatives (RUDI) is a local Nongovernmental Organization (NGO) registered in Tanzania Reg. ONGO/1933 with headquarters in Dar es salaam, Tanzania.
RUDI has presence in 26 Districts in 14 Regions of Tanzania supporting over 100,000 farmers organized in 400 groups. RUDI is ISO 9001:2015 Certified as providers of Business Development and Professional Capacity Building Services to smallholder farmers using a value chain approach.
RUDI has received funding from Oxfam Belgium to implement a 2 year project(2020-2022) titled “Reducing disaster risks and loses by promoting inclusive and local-led humanitarian systems.– DRR 11 in Kahama District.
Therefore RUDI would like to invite applications for the following positions to implement the project
Programme Coordinator- 1 post
Community DRR Officer – 1 post
MEAL Assistant – 1 post
Finance Officer – 1 post
Qualifications
Programme Coordinator
Bachelor degree in Agriculture, environment, Business administration or Community development in the relevant field with 5 years’ experience in projects management or working with small holders farmers and local communities.
2. Community DRR Officer
At least a diploma in Community development or bachelor degree in any related discipline with at least 2 years’ experience in working with small holder farmers and local communities
3. MEAL Assistant. This is Monitoring Evaluation and Learning
At least a bachelor degree in any related field, with Training in Results Based M&E with experience in data collection and analysis in any project.
4. Finance Officer
Holders of degree in accounting/finance or CPA.
The duty station shall be in Kahama for a period of 2 years 2020-2022.
