COMRICE Project Components

1. Improved business environment for the rice industry led by the Rice
   Council of Tanzania (RCT)
2. Increased productivity, production, and profitability of rice smallholders farmers in Kilombero and Mbarali.
3. Increased business capacity for smallholders organizations to own and manage rice commercial companies
4. Local partners started en process for less dependency of the Norwegian and external cooperation in order to establish a strong organization in farmers benefit

Contribution to COMRICE

RUDI was contracted to support Component 2, 3 and 4 on;

• Building business capacity for smallholders organizations to own and manage rice commercial companies.
• Increased productivity, production, and profitability of rice smallholders farmers in Kilombero and Mbarali
• Local partners started a process for less dependency of the Norwegian and external cooperation in order to establish a strong organization in farmers benefit
