FOOD SECURITY PROJECT

Name of the project: Food Security for Tanzanian Farmers-Shinyanga

 

Aim:The overall aim of the initiative is: Tanzanian small-holder farmers, with women as the new role models for agricultural development, will become resilient, overcome poverty and respond to the challenges of climate change through sustainable and innovative systems of food production, improved market access and income security, as well as more access to and efficient use of water and land.

 

Objectives: To establish and build capacities of 13 (thirteen) association and their respective Rice Marketing Associations in Bukombe, Mbogwe, Kahama, Shinyanga Rural and Maswa Districts.
